Coriander Kitchen in Orangeville

I had the absolute pleasure of eating a meal prepared by Coriander Kitchen and I have to say, with respect to my local Indian restaurant, this was the best Indian food I have ever eaten. Two thumbs up!

Best in Orangeville! All the dishes we have had so far are tasty and full of flavour. The portions are a good size and the prices are reasonable. It’s definitely a go to spot for us! Staff are always friendly and provide great service.

Delicious. Whether it is take-out or dine-in the food and flavor is always on point. Such kind staff as well. 10/10 LOVE their chicken korma, naan, and everything else I have eaten from there.

I have been in many Indian restaurants in GTA, but this one is by far the best. The taste is authentic, and they serve exactly how you would want. The restaurant has very welcoming staff, beautiful ambiance, tempting curry smell, and highly skilled chef. They cook fresh as you order in open kitchen concept, and you will surely fall in love with the Indian food in here.

Hospitality was wonderful the food came quickly it was hot the recommendations were excellent and we adored our waitress you would come there from Cambridge just for dinner in the future it was spotless and clean

Generally the food is good and the prices are good for portion size. Decor is tired and needs updating. Definitely not upscale dining. Last time the fish I was served still had the skin on and was greasy. Other meals have been ok.

A lovely, cozy little spot serving fresh, high-quality, and genuine Indian dishes made to order. Dairy-free options are sadly lacking, but overall the food is excellent. Highly recommend!

Wow. Freshest India food I've ever had, it was spicy good but not too hot. The girl that waited on us was amazingly friendly and would be one of the reasons I'd come back. Great helpings and home made samosas! My fav!

Every time we are within 45 minutes of Orangeville, we consider (very seriously) taking a detour to get food from Coriander. It is very, very good.

I love this place. Been here 5-6 times and the food has been fantastic very time. If they recommend a dish, try it. You won't be disappointed. Staff are super knowledgeable and friendly too.

Delicious! Large portions but squeeze in the garlic naan bread. Leave yourself some time - they take time and care with their dishes.

This was the absolutely best Indian food I've had in years. We were struck by the scent immediately upon walking in, and instead of ordering my tried and true I went for something new, and I was not disappointed. The decor and appearance of the restaurant in general is not great (a bit dated and dull), but that has no bearing on their food. The servers are quiet but very friendly. So much flavour, so much warmth. We live in a small town outside of Orangeville, and I can tell you that this place is going to be a (happy) problem for my family and I...

Went for lunch and had the dinner for two, delicious and generous portions. Had to take lots home. Yum

The staff were very friendly and pleasant! The food was very delicious! I've been eating authentic Indian food a lot throughout my life, although it's not spicy as I am use to, it's the perfect spot for a quick Indian food fix! They also have great lunch specials! It's easier to park across the street and walk over as parking in the front is limited. It's a cute cozy little place! Will definitely eat here again

Truly authentic Indian cuisine. Very friendly staff. They took the time to explain many dishes which I’m not familiar with as well. I highly recommend this restaurant. I will definitely be back!

Some of the best Indian food I have ever had. Considering my SO is from India, that's a tall order. The kitchen is part of the dinning area and is very clean which always impresses me.

You cannot go wrong with any dish. Everything is delicious and they serve large portions ! Staff are super friendly and inviting !

Stopped by for takeout while travelling. Unreasonably long wait time. The food was made by South Asians but certainly didn't taste like subcontinental delicacy. They offer "halal food" and also sell booze... So yea, go somewhere else.I suspect the high ratings are from small town people without that many choices for "Indian food"

Great Indian food in Orangeville!!We were very impressed with this Indian food. After living overseas for many years with an abundance of Indian food, we have been missing the quality and authentic taste!We had the butter chicken and lamb jahlfrezi, and was not disappointed with either! Service was incredible friendly (almost too friendly), and quick. Will definitely go back.

Fantastic food! The beef saag gosht is super flavourful and tasty. The only recommendation is to take the tails off the shrimp.

We visited this restaurant for the first time , we were super impressed. The quality and flavor of the food was superb. We selected the meal for two , really good portion sizes, the lamb korma was tender and beautifully cooked in a sweet mild sauce, we switched out the chicken dish for the butter chicken dish. The chicken was wonderful, it was tender large pieces in a wonderful flavourful sauce, the vegetable curry had a fantastic moderate spice all served with aromatic rice and beautifully made nan bread.We will be back. By far the best Indian restaurant in the area.Thank you 😊❤️

Very authentic Indian cuisine. The food tastes amazing and you can tell the staff takes a lot of pride in their work. We're lucky to have such a great place here in Orangeville! Highly recommend!

Great food and service. Upon placing a telephone takeout order, the waitress was very nice and friendly, as she was upon my arrival. Very personable. The food was equally great - I had the curry chicken with potatoes, Chicken Biryani, and roti bread. Prices are reasonable. Definitely will be back if in the area again.

Coriander Kitchen is a smaller restaurant, but the furniture, tapestries, an overall decore makes the restaurant feel warm, cozy, and inviting. The restaurant was very clean, and the staff was extremely friendly and attentive.The food is excellent, and the prices are moderate. We shared the dinner for two, this included samosas, rice, homemade naan bread, a curried meat dish, a vegetable and potato dish, plus a chicken dish, all for $27.00. throw in a couple of mango lassies, taxes and tips and it was under $50; there was enough food for us to take home and have it for lunch the next day, I found this to be very reasonable.I've lived in the Orangeville area for over 20 years, in my time here, this is the third attempt at an Indian restaurant for Orangeville, I really hope Coriander Kitchen succeeds, considering the number of people in the restaurant, the number of people coming in for pickup, and my family will definitely be coming back here, I think they will do well.
